This 200,000 square foot retail and office complex is the largest development in Malibu. Ten buildings are situated to create a seamless series of courtyards that brings the shopping experience outside to capitalize on the Southern California climate. As a designer on the team, I developed details to respond to problems encountered in the field, maintained an up-to-date construction document set, coordinated consultant work, and led the client-driven redesign while continuing to push the construction deadline four months ahead of schedule.
